Sony Changes Stance on Waterproof Phones, Now Advises Not To Use Them Underwater
In a move that is rather befuddling seeing that IP ratings have now become selling buzzwords, Sony has backtracked on promotion of underwater phone usage for its flagship lineup. While a lot of Sony’s promotional and marketing campaigns touted “Waterproof” capabilities, new language advises users to not use their phones underwater.
